Nest Bedding Launches $400 Amazon Exclusive Mattress
Nest Bedding has a new hybrid mattress that’s only available on Amazon. Called Nest Flip, they claim it’s the first flippable hybrid mattress (has coils) available online. We have to challenge that claim because Amore is a hybrid flippable mattress. Maybe it’s less well-known?
What does flippable mean? You can flip the mattress and get the side that’s firmer, or the other way, it’s less firm. One side is medium, and the other side is firm.
The advantage of a hybrid is that it’s more breathable (doesn’t get as warm as memory foam and foam can get) because there’s airflow between the coils than with solid foam. It’s made in the USA (Phoenix) with no China-made parts or materials.
Nest Flip Bed Price
Nest Flip is a budget mattress and is priced quite low. Interestingly, every size is priced within $200 of each other. The chart below will show the sizes and prices. Weight is 80-90 pounds, and it’s 10 inches thick.

Amazon Reviews
Amazon reviews for Flip are very strong – almost perfect, with a 4.6 out of 5. At the time of writing, it has 30 reviews. So we decided to run it through Fakespot. Unfortunately, it got an F. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad mattress. It means they have patterns that suggest the reviews were fake.
About 21% of the reviews were deemed real. Since almost all were positive, Flip is still likely a decent mattress for the price. They likely sent out a lot of beds for people in exchange for a review, and the reviews followed a similar pattern of timing and what’s said.
We’re giving Nest the benefit of the doubt because overall, their mattresses are high quality and the owner Joe is so responsive (and amazing on Twitter). They’re not new to selling mattresses either; the family-owned business was started in 2011.
Sleep Trial and Warranty
If you get a Nest Flip and want to return it, you have a 30 Night Sleep Trial. That’s considerably less than the standard 100 days offered by many retailers. However, it’s adequate time for most people to know if it will work for them. As far as a warranty, they offer a 10-Year Limited Warranty.
Rather than going through Nest Bedding for returns, they’re handled by Amazon directly.
