Consumers shopping for a mattress say that whether or not they trust a brand is one of the most important purchase considerations, according to the Lifestory Research 2021 America’s Most Trusted® Study. They looked at top brands, including Stearns & Foster, Serta, Sealy, Tuft & Needle, Beautyrest, Tempur-Pedic, Select Comfort, Simmons, BeautySleep, Purple, Leesa, Casper, and Spring Air.

Of the top 12, four are mattresses in a box that are sold mainly online.

They surveyed 12,816 people who were considering purchasing a mattress to find out which brands they trusted most. While most are traditional brands, 4 were beds that come a box-type mattress, most of which have only been around for the last 5 years. These newcomers are holding their own against established brands. We’re especially impressed to see Tuft & Needle at #5 on the list.
